CCNOS Staff has appreciated all of the input we have received from the Ministries and Servants using this website.  We are updating our website which will change the dynamics of this ministry dramatically.

Sometime soon in 2006, the website will look and function entirely differently.  The following modifications will take place:

Ministries and Servants will sign in and receive a "Users Password" which will give you access to the website and your personal account information.  This should allow for easier access and updating of your information.

Servants will have the ability to search the website by region or Ministry type.  This will allow Servants to locate Ministry needs individually and quickly.  Requesting Ministries will also be able to see what other ministry needs are out there.

Ministries will not be able to search Servant information.  Servants will contact Ministries.

Ministries will have the option to "Post" their ministry need for all of the servants listed at CCNOS to view their Ministry need.  If a Ministry decides not to "Post" their need, then an open ticket will be generated for the CCNOS staff to assist you to locate Servants without making your need public to CCNOS Servants.

Senior Pastor and Church Plant positions will be processed in a different manner than other Ministry need positions.  The requests will be accepted at CCNOS and referred to a Calvary Chapel Regional Pastor where that need is located.  The Regional Pastor will either address the need personally or allow CCNOS to post the need and CCNOS will list the contact person as the Regional  Pastor.

Future Servants may only be Calvary Chapel Servants  who have been in regular church attendance for a minimum of six months.  Or, a Non-Calvary Chapel Servant may apply to serve through this Ministry if they have read the Calvary Chapel Distinctive's Book and agree with all of the Distictives as outlined in the book.

We will continue to accept Ministry requests from Non-Calvary Chapels.

Both currently listed Ministries and Servants will be contacted to verify that they still wish to be listed with this Ministry and may be required to update some of their information.

With these changes, CCNOS will now be able to accept and process a larger amount of Ministry needs including a wider array of types of Ministry needs.  Our focus will always be on getting the Word of God out!  Until now, we had to limit the type of ministry requests to just those where the Word is exemplified and taught in some form using the Servant's talents and gift.  We will now allow other Ministry needs such as construction, contractor, labor, helps and servant needs to name a few.  We believe that those who polish the instruments for worship are just as important as those teaching the Word.  It's all about Worshipping Him! 

CCNOS does not allow Servants to view Ministry needs or Ministries to view Servant information at random (we provide this information as detailed on the FAQs pages of this website).  We believe that this could cause a great disservice to the Body as some may view the "Grass to be greener" and be tempted to leave a ministry where the Lord is conforming and molding the servant.  We do not want to interfere with the working of His Spirit in the life and ministry of His servant. 

Please remember that this ministry prayerfully seeks to connect ministries with available servants.  There is no guarantee that your ministry need will be met or that you will be connected through this ministry.

This is still a new and growing ministry.  We ask for your patience and most importantly, your prayers.  Most of the available servants are from California where this ministry was planted.  Please anticipate limited connections, if you are outside California, until this ministry is promoted by radio and the Calvary Satellite Network (CSN) at some point this year (2006).

CCNOS plans to send quarterly updates, by email, to all ministries and servants listed with CCNOS to verify current contact information and need/availability.  We will include brief ministry updates.
